Zahlreiche Final-Chancen bei der Sportakrobatik-EM - die man nützen will!

Sportakrobatik-Nationaltrainerin Leonor Vareta lehnt sich vor der am 12. Oktober in Varna beginnenden Elite- und Nachwuchs-EM weit aus dem Fenster: "Wir wollen jedes Finale erreichen, das möglich ist."

Insgesamt sind für die EM (Elite und Junior*innen) sowie für die "European Age Group Competitions" (EAGC, Altersklassen 11-16 und 12-18 Jahre) gewaltige 692 Aktive aus 23 Ländern gemeldet, darunter 27 aus Österreich in zehn Formationen.

Am 30.9./1.10. fand in Graz das gemeinsame Abschluss-Trainings-Camp des EM-Kaders statt (Foto, eine Formation fehlte). Nationaltrainerin Vareta: "A Training Competition took place and elements, individuals and choreos were polish to the sightless detail."

Vareta weiter: "All gymnasts and coaches are definitely ready and very excited to show the final product of a very hard work. Our ultimate goal is to compete with clean strong routines and reach all finals. At finals, the goal is to compete at their best and let the results place them in a fair ranking. We will dare walk into it aiming for a place at the podium."
